Annai Trust Mission

To undertake charitable, social welfare, educational and development initiatives for the less privileged, oppressed and the deprived women and children, youth, artisans, landless, unorganized and migrant laborers and the farming community regardless of caste, creed, race, language, religion and gender.

a. To run a Matriculation School under the name and style, “St. Joseph Matriculation School” and to improve the same to cater to the needs of the poor and backward children in Pudukottai District.

b. To establish, maintain and run educational institutions such as schools/ ITI’s
/Polytechnics/ Arts colleges/ Engineering Colleges/ Medical Colleges and Research Level Institutions for the promotion of arts, sciences, education, technical, paramedical and medical courses.

c. To care for the aged, destitute women, orphans, differently abled, HIV+v’s and to
establish rehabilitation homes etc.

d. To organize events, competitions, exhibitions, rallies, campaigns and the like to promote awareness to the public on Environment, Water & Sanitation, Solid Waste Management, Climate Change, Health and Family Welfare, HIV/AIDS, Anemia, Hepatitis-B, Maliaria &
T.B. and other epidemics like cholera, measles, gastro-enteritis, dengue, chickun-gunya etc.

e. To institute and award scholarships and loan scholarship to the students and scholars for any course of study/research and apprenticeship in any of the educational institutions in India.

f. To make the poor, marginalized, less privileged and the underprivileged, women and children self reliant in the primary needs of life such as food, clothing and shelter and to carry on social action programmes, trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, advocacy programmes, development initiatives, micro finance programmes for their rehabilitation and to engage in relief, rehabilitation, and emergency activities.

g. To promote model farms to demonstrate the methods of sustainable agriculture and bio- diversity programmes to the farming community.

h. To extend scholarship, educational assistance, to supply materials such as books, guides, note books, instrument boxes, stationeries, coloured clothes, uniforms to poor and destitute children, and supply clothes and nutrition supplements to poor and destitute children and aged people.

i. To promote and carry on theme parks, gym, small and cottage industries, khadi and village industries and micro enterprises activities and establish/maintain and support or assist model institutions for the unemployed youth so as to train them in Job Oriented Courses such as Tailoring, Ready Made Garments Making, Computer and Soft Skills, and other Vocational Training Courses recognized by the Director of Employment and Training, Govt. of Tamilnadu.

j. To promote and carry on Community Banking Services to help the poor women, micro entrepreneurs, unorganized and migrant workers, small and marginal farmers through micro finance activities.
